Lots of Treasures in the Trash to Treasure Night!

What a wonderful opportunity to meet the up and coming future guild members.  New babies are always a treasure, and even more so when you have several grace your meeting.  Thank you mom's for sharing them with all of us.

*******************************
Set up started right on time - below Jeanette makes sure that she leaves room for her table mate Lynn.

Charlotte was exhausted by the time she got her stuff in and set up.  Since there are no more babies coming to her family in the near future, she had quite a few baby theme items for sale.

Jenell overwhelmed her table with all the items she decided to bring to the Trash to Treasure Night.
There wasn't quite as much when it came time to pack up.
Erlene had some very interesting items on her table.
Carol B. brought in books at a very good price and her husband has been working over time to provide quilting ladies with wood display items.  Saw several of his old barn wood boxes go out the door along with the quilt racks.
Verna Lee's table was stocked full of bargains - just ask her.
You had to be quick to get the bargains that Jan brought in.  Love those spools, went to get $ = gone.  Rats!!

Audrey P's family had donated some of Audrey's Stash to help support our guild.  Did overhear how some of the ladies were tickled pink to have something of Audrey's for themselves.

Jason had also donated some things that were Tracy's.  What fun to see what other quilters had rounded up and to guess what they were planning on doing with them.

THANK YOU TO BOTH FAMILIES for thinking of the guild.

Donna had some nifty items, now if you could get her to stand still so you could get them.  Frances B's table was to the right back in the picture - so many hidden treasurers.

Mom and daughter went together to set up a table.  Course both Hayley and Sara made sure that they had time to check out what others had brought.

The bestest part as always, is to check through what was being offered at each and every table.  Had to hurry though as favorites were going fast.
When you got up high, you could really see what was all out there -
Then before you knew it, set up was over and the guild members "buying time" began.  Francis officially started everyone off.

While some got right into shopping - others took time to get some pointers on their embroidery.  Susie was a very busy person maning two areas (did you see the featherweight she brought in to sell - gorgeous) and taking time to help.  April's meeting will be the requested blanket / button hole stitch - see you at the guild at 6 pm on April 21st.  Make sure you write on their Request Sheet  any stitches that you are interested in learning or would like assistance with.
 Lots of shopping going on.
Thank you to the Bits and Pieces for all the refreshments.  They made sure that they were easy to handle and you could walk, shop and munch.

At 7:00 pm, the doors were open to those outside the guild for shopping.  Jenell did a good job passing the word along to the ladies in Miltonvale.
Suggestions were made that we hold a Trash to Treasure night each year - maybe next time everything will work out and it will happen when scheduled.  Even with the changes - it seemed to be a great night for buyers and sellers alike.

Good Job Everyone?
