Trip to the Fair

101 degrees in the shade      and       103 in the sun

That is what our poor fair goers are experiencing.
Took all 4 of the grandkids down yesterday afternoon so that I could see how our guild did - wow, we almost did not make it.
Congrats to everyone that entered and to those of you that sat through the judging yesterday.
Wonderful to see all the tops entries

in both quilted by exhibitor and by others

Sara got a grand

Cindy reserve

Hayley reserve

There were so many entries in the textiles by members of our guild.  We are such a talented bunch.  Great job to all of you ladies.  Kathy R. is getting ready for a great - not in the works, but possible.  hahahaha

Good job Geri

Cindy had a couple in the show

Congrats Carol for your wacky houses, now aren't you glad you put it in?

Sara

Not as many as we have had, but so great to see some old and new patterns

Lorraine got in a red/white/blue and Cindy did a Bonny Hunter scrap I think

Bev R, Pat, Stacie, Mike and Granddaughter Reece - congrats to all

Okay, so I love flowers.  And it seems so does a lot of our guild members.  Stacie did ceramics also.

Please forgive me if I forgot anyone, so many.
I do know that Geri, Sara, Kathy, and Hayley - had entries.

It was good to see them before the heat really dampened their beauty.  Hayley and Mike had tomatoes on show also.
Remember, click on a picture and it gets larger so you can see what is what on the entry tickets.

Sara took a grand on her buffet flower arrangement.

And we have younger guild members that have animals also.  Sierra had a couple of rabbits in.
Tell four kids NO - don't touch.  Boy am I a mean granny.

What really got the youngins is when they saw me taking a picture of the bathroom.
What?
Ha ha ha - then they saw the quilt block.

Enjoy the fair, stay hydrated and congratulate all those that entered.  They keep the fair going.
