Yeah! Was great seeing Bonnie.
She is looking great and still a bunch of laughs.
Hearing her tales of Utah and what goes on out there was very interesting.
Lunch was fantastic.
Bonnie brought pictures of her studio.
But she will not be held responsible for the clutter it is in right now.
When you are on a design roll - you go with it. ha ha
But at least we got an idea of what Walter has built for her and some of the projects
under way. Some of us had a big laugh as we remember helping her pack and the sale and it is just mind boggling how fabric grows. ha ha
Bonnie brought a few quilts with her to give us a show and tell of what all she has been up to.
This monster quilt is so cute. Remember, you can click on the pictures to see them larger.
Bonnie had bought the figured part of this quilt to put on the back of the monster quilt, but just way too busy , so she used it for a quilt all of it's own.
When Bonnie was in the hospital for that long spell, she used her time to embroider up a bunch of blocks and this may be the last quilt using some of those blocks. Love the center piece that gave inspiration for the borders around each block.
The giraffes on this quilt were so cute and the tossed 9 patches on the corners came together wonderfully.
This quilt has the painted carousel type horses on it and the borders really set them off.
Thank you Bonnie for taking the time and the room to bring us a taste of what you have been up to.
The ladies that were able to come and visit, also brought show and tell, I have not included them here as some we have seen and others we will see come the next meeting.
Got so busy talking, that before you knew it - it was time to clean up and head on home. So of course - I goofed and forgot to get a picture of all of us together till some were already out the door. Forgive me Bonnie and ladies.
But here is a collage of everyone that was able to be there.
