June Show 'n Tell

Summer, planting, harvest, graduations, vacations - you name it and our calendars are full.  Some of our members though - no matter what - find time for their favorite "sport".......
Geri was at a "man's" event and growing a little bit bored when she noticed a bag being carried by some of the attendees - next thing you knew - she got her husband to visit the different stalls and pick up an ADVERTISEMENT BAG - which she promptly put into this wonderful quilt.  Way to go and fast thinking Geri.  She definitely used her "lemons" to make "lemonade".

Jane didn't think she would still have her 4 square and snowball quilt after it was finished so she brought in the top for us to see a bit ago; however, due to rescheduling - we were blessed with seeing the quilt finished after all.  Even more lovely now.

As one of the Co-Chairs for the 2014 Guild Challenge this year, Jan decided to have some fun and make a project  herself.  Oops!  She says that it was fun to pick out and do a "10" of something, but difficult to stay within the size parameters.  Love the yellows......Natch!
Deb is working on finishing a family members projects.  Forgive me, I did not write down whose.  All three of these are gorgeous - and Deb is doing a wonderful job.

Carol has been really busy as she showed us two quilts, the one above and

Hayley's graduation quilt which was a joint effort with mom.  Carol said it was just a simple "Turning 20" pattern, but with the fabrics used and then the addition of the applique - Outstanding!  Lucky Hayley.

Erlene got put in touch with quilter Dee, who had someone that had some blocks and wanted them put together - which Erlene did.  Then Dee quilted and then loaned back to Erlene so she could show us before the quilt was returned to the owner.

Remember - click on the pictures to have them enlarge some for better viewing.
Next month we are going to have Show 'n Tell also - so if you did not have a chance to bring in finished work - hope to see it in July.
