Jane brought in a project that she got the pattern for in Alaska. Think I heard a little voice in the background asking Jane to finish one just like that for someone else that had gotten the same pattern in Alaska. You will have to ask Jane what the flower is.
Jane also received her quilted gift for her daughter's anniversary back from the long arm-er Susie and showed it off. After the binding goes on - it will be delivered and we won't get the opportunity to see it. What a wonderful idea to put in the narrow strips between the rows of disappearing 9-patches. Different look with a fantastic border.
Watch out everyone, Jan is on a roll. She won this lovely string quilt at the Miltonvale Tootlefest and is really hoping that her winning streak continues through to November when we draw the winner for our Opportunity Quilt.
Cindy made this quilt from a magazine picture that Kelsey had put in her closet years ago. Kelsey wanted to make it, like the rest of us never got the time. But Mom's are special people - Cindy got it done as a surprise for her. Oodles and oodles of quilting that you had to see close up. Love the back, makes it reversible.
Our listed Program speaker Cleta Wietharn had made this quilt that Erlene owns - so tonight was a perfect time to bring it in and show Cleta how much it is treasured.
Thank you everyone for bringing in your masterpieces.
