2ND ANNUAL TEA - WOW !!!!!!

First thing in the door you got a chance to get in the groove by picking out the type of tea you wanted to try this year. Once again, Carol got those lovely pyramid teas - Thank you Carol, they were great. After you signed in, you could check out Vevia's set up for her napkin program as you headed for the table of your choice. Sara sure has the talent to make those tables pop with the table cloths and napkins that Carol brought as the back drop for Sara's center pieces. The daisy pin cushions were designed by Vevia and Carol helped her make enough that every one who attended got to take one home to remember the day. Food was over and beyond grrrrrrreeeeeaaaaaatttt!!! From grapes & oranges, to truffles, chocolate mint yumms, lemon bars, cookies of all kinds, chicken - cucumber - tomato jam - quiche sandwiches, breads = just too much to remember, but thankfully more than enough to give everyone a very satisfied feeling. You will have to get with Verna Lee to get a gander at all of the food that was available as she was smart enough to take a shot of each table after the food was brought in and before things got too busy.

After the meal, Vevia gave her program on napkin folding. Some of the comments as the ladies tried several types of folds was that they could do it - if you gave them two weeks before they were needed. ha ha It was not that bad, people did a great job and with practice - everyone will be surprising their families.

Show and tell was saved for last - from a momento of Marcella B.'s work to finished UFO's, table center pieces and covers were awesome. Very inspiring to see all of the ideas of how to decorate your table.

Thank you to Carol S., Sara, Verna Lee & Lisa for putting on the tea. Thank you to those that loaned tea cups and serving dishes. And double extra thank you to all the wonderful people that helped us clean up this year.

(For those of you that would like to attend an oriental dinner on the floor at Mrs. B's, Mr. B says you have to bring your husbands - so they can help you get back up. He has enough just getting Mrs. B up.)
