Way to go Erlene!!!!!
What a presentation Erlene gave us towards this years challenge. On display were entries from challenges of previous years and a gauntlet was tossed out for us to get out of our comfort zones and - FLEX - our possibilities.
The rules are short and inclusive:
#1. Your project must be completed with quilting and/or tying (your way). #2. Your project must be bound. #3. Your project must be labeled. #4. If your project is a wall hanging, it must have a sleeve or rod pocket in the proper place. #5. You will be expected to display your pattern book, kit instructions, or instructions if pattern is from a computer. #6. No size restrictions.
So be it a kit you bought and never did, a pattern you hungered for and now have a great reason to get, a class you took and never did anything with the techniques you learned, speakers that inspired you and you have been thinking about doing it - Now is your chance. Guild members will vote on their favorite project and Quilters from Junction City Quilt Guild will also be giving out awards. Everyone should have received their Challenge via e-mail or see Erlene for copies. Remember, you have to have your entries to Erlene by Monday, September 12th for display and judging on Monday, September 19th meeting.
