for updates and pictures on guild happenings.

Jan presented the first program of the year - and presented us all with a challenge........ what to do with those pieces that aren't straight, almost too slim to use, or just plain scraps. Jan's step by step demonstration for a 9" block made this process very easy to understand. Her tips will save all of us some time and hopefully eliminate those new method errors.

The best part of Jan's program was all of the samples she showed. The variety was outstanding. From antique type stars, to windows, boxes, huge star, pillow, etc. The possibilities should make

this a very interesting style to try out. And since you do not need to color coordinate or have yards and yards to start - it is also an economical quilting method. A special thanks to all of Jan's friends and family for sharing their items for viewing and letting us see what STRING PIECING can offer.
