Congratulations go out to Verna Lee !!!I checked with one of our guild members who has been with the guild from the start, and this is the first time a guild member has ever won the Opportunity Quilt. There has been a family member that has won before, but never a member. So double yeah to Verna Lee.
A special THANK YOU also goes out to all the banks and businesses that displayed this years quilt and helped us sell tickets. You are much appreciated.
It was quite exciting to get a heads up look at the 2011 Opportunity Quilt before it goes off to the quilter. Have Stacy tell you of all the adventures this quilt has already had in it's short life time.
The ladies that worked on it have done a great job. If you have ideas of how we can sell more tickets next year, please get with Stacy and share those ideas.
