November Program

Give a hand of applause to Deb and Stephanie. Due to medical reasons, our scheduled program could not make our meeting. Deb gave us a great run down on not only Early Head Start ( 0 - 3 ), but also the next stage, Head Start ( 3 - 5). Stephanie not only ran the power point presentation, but she added statistics and information of the areas that she has been involved in.

As Early Head Start has been our Community Service project this year, it was interesting hearing about what the program is doing currently.

After their program, members within the guild showed the types of quilts that they do for various charity organizations.

Whether you have made all the quilts your family will ever need, or just do not know who to make one for - the ladies gave us some great ideas of simple patterns to do and places that would very much appreciate our work. It is so sad to hear of the needs out there - it does help us to remember though of all that we have to be thankful for this Thanksgiving Season.
