Members at work on Labor Day

If you had nothing else planned for Monday's holiday, I sure hope you made it over to Palmer, KS for their quilt show and other Labor Day Events.

Our very own Bonnie O. was on hand at the Community building, more than happy to show you the 20+ quilts she had brought over from the Clifton area. Wow, catch a look at one of Bonnie's Jacobean quilts. Think she had two in the show and one that was similar to the style, but different - per Bonnie.

Juanita had a quilt in the show also - you go girls!.

Did not get a chance to count to see how many quilts and quilted objects were on display, but there were so many that quite a few were folded and could not be shown totally.

Hope you enjoy this brief preview of what we saw.

Heh Carol B. - look at the aprons on display at the bottom of all of these pictures - there were some awesome ones just as you came in the door.

Thank you to all those ladies (& gents?) that took their quilts in to be shown. Was a great treat on a long weekend. And thank you Bonnie for encouraging us to go - even John had fun.

Thank you also goes out to all of the ladies that were working that day and invited us to share their lunch. That was an unexpected and much appreciated privilege.
