2009 President Jan enjoyed handing over the Piotique Quilter's Guild gavel too much - New 2010 President Vevia was not sure if Jan was laughing because she was glad to have her two year presidency over with, or laughing because she knew what work lay ahead for the new board.
Past President Jan was very surprised and pleased when she opened her Christmas Card from the Members. The guild was able to present their president of two years a gift card to a near by quilting store, extra cash and blocks from new 2009 members. Jan had earlier showed the quilting project she had made from 2008 signature blocks presented to her last December.
Thank you again Jan for the two years you served the guild. You and your 2008 and 2009 boards - did an excellent job.
Keep up the prayers for our new president and board members as they prepare for 2010.
