Well the Festival of Trees is going strong this year. Did hear they are still getting in forms and they are still painting signs, so by Thanksgiving it should glisten and glow on the Court House lawn,.
My great-grands from Texas were up this past Tuesday and Wednesday and they had the privilege of decorating the PQG tree. It was an awesome time for them and blessed us oldies that have a time bending over and such. ha ha ha Enjoy our tree without the decorating work - we are across the street from Common Ground on Fifth.
Four generations were in the act of turning the poor bare tree into a winter wonderland of quilting awe and fantasy. By the way, the kids loved the candy canes, trees, stars and mittens the best. When I pointed out the quilt blocks - not so much. Boy do I have some training up in the ways they should go ahead of me.
Third generation mom was taking a lot of pictures and watching Mayer who was sleeping in the car, the boys were not thrilled with the prickly branches, but they loved picking out the decorations and telling us where to put them.
And here are the famous "tree decorating elves", Tyler, Wylder and Archer.
Be sure to drive by and even perhaps parking right in front and seeing what they were able to accomplish and remember, the littles picked the parking places of the decorations. ha ha
We need to get a few more decorations before next year as a couple have seen their demise this year.
Enjoy the Holidays everyone.
