Embroidery to kick off the night.

Last month Susie had demonstrated how to do crazy quilt blocks.  This month the ladies had oodles of questions, hints and show and tell from what they had put into practice.
Thank you Susie for all of your ideas and tips.

Sara made this large block with fabric that she has been wanting to use in a special way.

Think this one with the red is from Virginia

Susie showing the ladies how not to get into trouble; however, if you do - there are several ways out.

samples of Sara and Jane's crazy quilting and Susie's applique piece with wool were all in on the discussion.  Some found they liked the look better with plain fabric.  Patterned fabric can get to being too busy.

Deb brought in her idea to store her embroidery stitch cards.  She now has them neatly in one place for easy access and they won't get messyt.  Thank you Deb for sharing.

Our Sew Day is set up for Saturday, March 7th where there will be a demo on using different ribbons in your crazy quilting.  So if you have not thought of a project to bring - good time to work on your crazy quilt blocks - either to sew them and get Susie's help if your get in a bind.  Or bring in your blocks and embellish them.

March's guild meeting will be at the new museum building so there will not be an embroidery meeting at 6:00.

Have fun ALWAYS!!
