Summer months are a scorcher in the museum, so extra special thank you to all of the volunteers that help out with the quilt work.
Isn't this quilt gorgeous?
It is another signature quilt (think the committee has done a million of those so far - ha ha) with a different flavor.
On Wednesday, the group finished the quilt pictured above and started work on another signature quilt made in 1918, that "ONLY" had 439+ signatures on it.
We are blessed reading names from the past and sometimes able to tie them to present family names.
If you are interested in helping out - please contact Vevia. We gather at the museum the second Wednesday of the month at 10:00 am, and the fourth Wednesday of the month at 1:00 pm.
