October Show 'n Tell

Juanita forwarded to me the picture of the quilt she made for her friend.  We'll all be praying that her treatments do wonders.
Juanita also sent in a "barn block" for us to see.  Have not had a chance to ask her where this is located.  Looking forward to adding more pictures of these types of blocks (hint, hint - everyone). Forward your pictures on to me for posting here on our site.

Jan's mother, Donnis, had taught a Tilted Log Cabin Technique at the Morganville Friendship Group meeting this month from Lynne Edwards' book "Stash-Buster Quilts".

Vevia fractured her borders and sashings when she did her 3 block version.

Vevia brought in a disappearing 9-patch for our Community Service Project.

Frances B. also brought in a quilt for the Community Service Project - love the strip piecing method.

Judy made two individual Tilted Logs - Reversible, for her end tables.  Love those colors.  They are from left overs of her tube quilt shown below.  This quilt is going to a granddaughter.  Judy says it took her over a year to get this all together.  It was worth it Judy.  Susie did the quilting.
Jane put Carol B.'s last months BOM technique to use and made a runner using the quilt as you go method.  Jane did say that she will quilt it differently next time as she is not happy with the back.  Jane - It looked fine to us.
Thank you everyone for bringing in your show and tells.  Looking forward to seeing all the projects that will be in next month's 2013 Guild Dresden Plate Challenge.  Till then......................
