Fair Judging Results

This is where it all starts on Tuesday night when the textile entries go through this door.

As you can see below - WAY - WAY - WAY down this year.  There were 16 quilt entries.  Very unfortunate for our County when we have so many wonderful quilters.

Hayley did very well for herself on the 4-H side.  Two blues with her embroidery entries.

And remember our twilling with Susie and coloring with Lisa?  Hayley listened well and came away with a Senior Reserve.  Great Job Hayley.  Congratulations!

Carol did very well for herself with a Blue and Reserve Champion on last years Challenge. Yeahhhhhh!! Carol.
And a Third with her Alaskan Quilt.

Cindy also did well with three Blues, with one blue getting a Reserve Champion. You go Woman!

Sara entered into the Repurposed/recycled class with her quilted bag made from a 25 cent jacket she found at the light house - She got a Blue in her class and a Reserve Champion.  Kudos and well done Sara!

Vevia got 4 Reds and one Blue that netted a Grand Champion.

Great Job everyone!!!!!!!!

Now, for a million dollar question:

Is it a little sad, or absolutely fantastic - that out of only 16 entries in the quilt classes,
our 4 guild members walk away with 11 wins?

Congratulations to each of our ladies and let's work towards next year having 40 - 80 entries from our guild with oodles of winners.
