June SHOW 'n TELL

Last month's BOM was a great hit with the Barber Shop Pole type of look, we had runners and
Throws done with just one block idea.  Loved Carol B's table runner, made you hungry for a candy cane.
Frances B. - how do you find time?  A whole throw done in just under a month - looks great.
Sara did a table runner with the block also and we are all wondering what Jane will come up with for her pole's.  She brought in a long runner and a square runner made from previous BOM's.
Verna Lee brought in quite a few quilts completed by you know who.  She does a great job and I believe Verna Lee said that she is also tying them.
Susie wasn't quite sure what she would do with her square that she hand quilted from our class two years ago and then she got a great idea to put it on the front of a bag.  What a great place to showcase her work.
You have heard Susie tell about her orphan quilts that she saves from the trash pile at different sales - look what a family member got for $1 then gave to Susie to quilt up.  WOW!!!!!!!!!  Susie had to repair a few butterflies - but the final project was more than worth it.  What a find and what a SAVE.

I am not sure where Juanita says she messed up - only she can point out the spot - for the rest of us - Egads - what a beauty.  Look at the whole - this is a quilt to be very proud of.  Great job Juanita.
