Jane Anderson - "Stitching, Embroidery & Applique Quilts"

Jane started her adventure by buying a Bernina sewing machine just to make very nice labels - but she has since then, gone on to some wild side trips and gone up a notch or two on models.

Jane confessed that she is not a hands on needle person - so when she found out all she could do with an embroidery sewing machine in embroidery AND applique - she experiemented to the fullest.

Jane walked us through the techniques of hooping or not hooping, spraying with 505, the best needles and different types of stabilizers - she also went into the hours required for some of the quilts she has done.

This baby quilt was quilted using the embroidery machine.

As one member stated afterwards - if Jane had had a Bernina sewing machine salesperson with her on Monday - they would have sold quite a few machines.  Many might have been ready to go into debt right then and there, just to have the chance to produce such prize winning quilts.
So, Thank you Jane for not bringing a sales person - impulse buying is dangerous.

However, a triple THANK YOU for showing us the possibilities out there.
