Tropical Island Tea Escape - ooooooooooooooeeeeeeee oh wow!!!!!

The tea committee were told that they out did themselves this year - though there was a couple people that after the menu was read - asked if that was all? !  Ha ha.  Carol, Verna Lee, Vevia and Susie did a great job on the decorations, food and door prizes.  A big thanks goes out to Iowana also, she helped with her cucumber sandwiches and chocolate with Andi's mint frosting.  Tables were set up to accommodate 48 people, unfortunately only 39 were able to make it.  For those that could not make it - we missed you.

This year we had a surprise visit from Mother Goose.  She made the day with her twist on the old GoldiLocks and the Three Bear story.  Wonderful job Frances, who knew you had it in you.

A warm and special thanks goes out to all the ladies that were able to stay and help the committee clean up.  We have the bestest folks of all.  When the lady from the church came in - she complimented us on a great job - it was immaculate.  Thank you everyone and thank you for donating monies that paid for the room rental.

Word is started that next year we should have a "Mad Hatters Tea" with everyone coming with their own version of a mad hatter type hat.
Need more volunteers to join the committee as our numbers have gone from 12ish - 24ish - 39ish in attendance.
All 2012 attendees, be on the look out this summer for your High Tea Recipe book.
