PROGRAM - Crazy Quilts

Susie has been crazy quilting for years, sometimes she even gets to try out different styles and materials that she is interested in.........other times, dear old mom gives her one or FIVE projects that she knows Susie can do up in no time at all. Well with Susie - she can.

And they do not have to be large projects. Susie proved that with the smaller versions that she presented in post cards, note cards, note book covers, tea pot cozies, stockings, and bags.

While Susie was presenting all the different ways you can incorporate crazy quilting into your projects, Deb was demonstrating how easy it is. With Donna's help on the iron, Deb had a finished block to show us at the end of the program.

The varity of large quilts shown, proves that you do not have to be an expert or have the finest silk or velvet. And squares aren't the only way to go, think of log cabin style or even on point.
A special thank you to the members that brought in their crazy quilt examples. What a fantastic way to use up scraps and to re-cycle those old jeans or blouses of the past.
