Piotique Quilters Guild hits the fair

There is something to learn every year when you attend the textile judging. Whether it be crocheting, embroidery or our favorite - Quilting.

And this year we saw some new faces in the entrants. Remember 2009 Christmas Sew day - First Place. Yeahhhh!

Looking up and down the line, you saw many items that were just recently viewed at the quild meeting. Take a double look and there was 2009 Patriotic Challenge and what a fabulous sight to see the new quilters from the mentoring program make
a first. Wow!! I was so proud of our
guild and what it has given to further the love of quilting. I left some excitement for you to view for yourself down at the Exhibit hall, but congratulations do go out to many of our ladies. And not just in the textiles, we have a member that was grand and reserve just a building over.

Bravo to everyone. Remember to trim your threads, watch your points, seams flat, uniform binding, good eye movement, good color combinations, small - close binding stitches and have fun.
