Tea Party a Great Hit

The spring tea party was a great hit. Linen on the tables, tea pots of all kinds to catch your eye, door prizes galore - and WOW the hats. There was a moment there when we thought the ladies of the red hat society might be making an appearance - but then we noticed that straw hats had their share also. Audrey's was from the 50's, not sure when Susie's was, but those were the days. And then dear Erlene showed us what a true Clay Center, Kansas hat could look like.
Way to go girl.
Show and tell was great. The stories of where tea cups came from and how they got to the tea was exciting.
Quite a few also brought hand made items to show, including a doll that has her very own story to share. The food was plentiful and pleasing to the eye. Thank you to the hostesses of this years tea. Looking forward to next years.
