2015 Christmas Party - passing of the duties!

Start with a clean slate (thank you church for all the tables and chairs out)......
and then (thank you to all the ladies that were able to attend the 2015 Christmas "Decorating Party") with a little of this and a little of that.........

and before long

the task is done and waiting for the guests and food to arrive.
Last picture above is the early arrival of our 2015 President and her Mr. S. - Carol wanted to make sure that everything came together for the evening and for her Presidential year to end on a high note.

Decided not to bore everyone with pictures of all the food, and as you can see in the back, the food lines moved along steadily.

Now for the guests!

Remember when you were younger and you could remember everyone's name?  Those were the days, please forgive me for any goofs and for forgetting any names.

Jane C's name was drawn by Marilyn S. for the UFO winner of the year.

Verna Lee tried something new with the door prizes - and though it took a few more pulls than usual, we got a winner.  Jenell now owns a PQG pin.  Congrats Jenell.

It's always sad to see the year end AND at the same time it's always exciting to see the new year just ahead.  2015 Pres Carol officiated in her last task for the year and handed off the gavel to 2016 Pres Karen

As past President, Frances B. headed up the signature blocks detail and presented Carol S. with the members' token of thanks for a great year.  If you have not had a chance to turn in your pastel signature block - you still have time.  Carol S. is going to let them "ferment" for a spell in the lovely tin they came in.  (Or it could be that she doesn't want to rush into cutting the beautiful tea cup fabric that was included in the tin - WOW factor!)  As soon as you can, please complete your blocks and get them to Carol.

Clean up is always such a pleasure with our guild group.  Husbands jump right in and give their best to make the time go fast.  May take hours to set up, but with everyone's help - 15 minutes and you are headed home.

A very special Christmas and New Years to all.
Praying for safe travels and pleasant memories.
